Our next cohort of volunteers will begin March 9 with an 11 am information session. Please register for that session on our Events page. 

Volunteer Roles:
Trumbull County LOSS Team Volunteers: Respond to scenes when dispatched by the coroner's office to               support those bereaved by suicide in Trumbull County, Ohio, volunteer at outreach opportunities, 
         assist with support group/online programming

Volunteer Coordinator: Assist with keeping track of volunteer opportunities and volunteer
         hours, keep database of volunteers updated

Support Group Facilitators: assist in leading and/or supporting a leader in a support group setting in                   person or online

Card Writers- our Card Care Coordinator will request volunteers to assist with sending cards at           
         appropriate times to remind survivors of suicide loss that they are not alone. Assist with writing the
         greetings, addressing envelopes, making cards

Grief Companions: become a Certified Family Peer Supporter and companion others through their time of
         grief, offering an empathetic ear and resources. Training provided through NAMI Ohio, must qualify           for certification

Makerspace volunteers: assist in a variety of ways from manning the space during open hours, cleaning, or running certification classes! Let us know what interests you!

Event volunteers: Help us at any event with a role that you feel most comfortable with!
